Online Solitaire
Online Solitaire
Online Solitaire is a single player game played using a standard deck of cards (no jokers). The idea is to complete 4 piles with all the cards in consecutive order. The main object of the game is to build up and complete the 4 Foundation piles in ascending order and in suit from Ace to King as quickly as possible (but within a maximum 10 minute time frame) and in the least amount of moves. The game table consists of 3 different sections, with different rules for each. The section on the top right of the game table consists of 4 Foundation piles. On the top left of the game table is the card deck to the left, and the waste pile to the right. On the bottom are 7 Tableau piles. There are different rules for each section of the game table. These piles spread across the bottom of the game
window must be developed according to the following rules:
  1) They must go down the page in descending order from King to Ace.
  2) They must alternate in colour.

A player can move cards around the Tableau piles, so long as they place the cards in agreement with these rules. Groups of Tableau cards can be moved by clicking the card of the highest value and dragging the group to the desired position. An exposed card can be flipped by clicking on it. An empty Tableau pile can only be filled by a King. The 4 Foundation piles can only be developed according to the following rules:
  1) They must build up in ascending order from Ace to King.
  2) They must follow suit.
A player can remove a card from the Foundation piles and place it at the bottom of Tableau piles. The game is over when all Foundation Piles have been completed. Clicking on the Deck will turn over a card and place it in the waste pile. A player can only move the top card of the waste pile first, but once moved, the next card can be used too, and so on. This card can be moved to either the Tableau piles or the Foundation piles, in accordance with their rules. Every time a card is placed in a Foundation Pile, the player is awarded 250 points. The game ends when either all Foundation piles have been completed, or when the time runs out. Players win the tournament by registering the highest scores of all players. The highest scores will be awarded to those who complete the game the quickest, with the least number of moves.
